Ken Scarlette joined the Secure Community Network (SCN) in 2025 as the Regional Security Advisor for the SCN Illinois-Iowa Security Program. As the Illinois-Iowa RSA, Ken oversees the safety and security operations covering the seven Jewish Federations of: Champaign-Urbana, Peoria, Greater Rockford, Springfield, Greater Des Moines, The Quad Cities, and Sioux City. In this role, he administers the Federation’s community security programs, providing consultations, building and organizational assessments, training and drills, threat mitigation for Jewish organizations, and response coordination for critical incidents.
